DDS recognizes that people with disabilities must be at the center of development to ensure no one is left behind. Our work intersects with multiple SDGs through targeted action, advocacy, and community-based development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SDG 1 \u2013 No Poverty<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>DDS organizes <strong>income-generating activities<\/strong>, vocational training, and self-help group formations for persons with disabilities to reduce poverty and dependency. Programs like goat rearing, small business training, and micro-enterprise support help beneficiaries achieve financial independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SDG 3 \u2013 Good Health and Well-being<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>DDS conducts <strong>health camps, primary healthcare support<\/strong>, assistive device distribution, and awareness programs on hygiene, nutrition, and reproductive health\u2014particularly for women and children with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SDG 4 \u2013 Quality Education<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Through <strong>inclusive education initiatives<\/strong>, literacy programs, and support for children with multiple disabilities, DDS helps ensure access to formal and non-formal education. Educational materials, Braille services, and special education for blind children are part of this effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SDG 5 \u2013 Gender Equality<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>DDS runs <strong>women empowerment programs<\/strong>, vocational training for women with disabilities, and <strong>violence prevention campaigns<\/strong>.
