DDS Women Violence Prevention Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Protecting Rights, Promoting Dignity for Women with Disabilities<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Disabled Development Society (DDS)<\/strong> firmly believes that every woman, regardless of ability, has the right to live a life free from violence, discrimination, and fear. In many communities across Bangladesh, women with disabilities are at a disproportionately high risk of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. DDS addresses this critical issue through its Women Violence Prevention Program<\/strong>, a targeted initiative focused on protection, empowerment, and justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose and Importance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Women with disabilities often face dual marginalization\u2014both as females and as persons with disabilities. They may experience abuse within families, institutions, workplaces, or care settings, with limited access to reporting systems or legal support. DDS\u2019s program is designed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
